THE MESS HOUSE
|Please note: effective Tuesday, June 26, the Mess House Café will be temporarily closed until further notice. A variety of baked goods and beverages will be available for purchase in the Visitor Centre.|
Located at the eastern end of the boardwalk, the Mess House serves delicious homemade lunch, fresh-baked goods, and coffee. Through May and June, it's open six days a week and closed on Monday. From July through September it's open seven days a week. Hours are 10:30 am – 3 pm. Catering for pre-booked visits is available at other times. Our summer menu will feature delicious home-made specials similar to what may have been served and, whenever possible, using locally-sourced ingredients. Be sure to visit the Can Factory Gift Shop, located within our Visitor Centre and open during regular site hours. We are proud to showcase signature North Pacific Cannery merchandise, fishing industry paraphernalia, books and other printed matter, and regional arts and crafts.
